After a long time I read a mythological fiction which was so perfect in its research. It felt refreshingly good to read the book as it spoke volumes about the effort the author has put in behind the book.

The narrative , the details, the scene and the description of the wars everything was so stupendous that it makes you imagine it all. It feels as if you are watching a movie in your mind. The best thing about the characters is that they all seem believable. They are considered to be Gods but they are shown in their complete fragility making them seem so connectable for a reader.

In our country what we forget is that even Gods came with their own flaws and this book’s characters reminds us of that fact. They have their own vulnerabilities with their own strengths and the way their allow their strengths to take control of them is what makes them divine in the truest sense.

I have read the author’s previous work and even in that what mesmerized me was her research. She really does have a knack in observing the minutest of things and making her story so comprehensive that there is hardly any loophole left for one to catch and gape at.

A huge applause for her for making this story so enjoyable, cannot wait for the next part now!
